私の愛の沈黙は沈黙を守ってたことがないはずです。

keep in mind that this takes place after World War ll

The deep laughter of crows reached the peaks of the sky, giving the battered place some hiff of it's silence. Vultures snickered and cackled amongst their grubby meal of a rabbit carcass, their skin-bared heads making quick movements as their battered beaks snipped and poked at the motionless body. The dead rabbit's fur was wet, covered in blood and the vulture's saliva. The mice that flees amongst the worn town sniffed, peeped, and stuck their tongues out at the vulture's careless work of a meal. Even though they were cute, yet disease-filled on their part, the black cat had to agree, the mice were right on being disgusted of the vulture's filling.

Scourge knocked a rusted can over to the side carelessly has his oversized claws made rough pawsteps against the crackling pavement. chipping brick buildings stood tall, their windows smashed, dusty, and hard to see through considering the building's overwhelming darkness that filled it's dead, empty rooms. The air was filled with dust and debris, the sky a musky yellow considering it was getting quite late at this point. The streets were covered in an old fashioned cobblestone, it's rocky surface chipping and molding as well. The light poles started to rust, it's lights making a faint, deep orange glow. It's deep grey steel was rough, moldy, and had the touch of broken down sandpaper. The grass was fading away of it's healthy glow, looking like crackling and rotting celery at this point. Columbus clouds filled the sky, covering the sun's warm comforting of sunshine and replaced with the deep sight of darkness. Ever since this place had seen it's fate of World War 2 and the attack of Hitler, this place was starting to lose it's life. After it's madness and all of it was settled by the problem. The war ended in Europe with the unconditional surrender by Germany on May 7 and then the German surrender to the Soviets on May 8, Germany was defeated by the British and Americans in the south and west and by the Russians in the east. Japan also unconditionally surrendered to the U.S. in September, killing 2,1945 others after two atomic bombs were dropped by the U.S.A. on Nagasaki and Hiroshima in Japan in August... A crumbling fate indeed.

Scourge sighed, watching another set of animals dying of hunger now that the bakeries no longer offer food for the poor animals, let alone even open and close and stay in business. The last bakery was filled with molding bread and stale cupcakes, which obviously nothing else here wanted. Scourge was here for something else too. Bone and Brick followed closely behind, their faces grim, and filled with sadness and disappointment. Their hometown and clan territory had been destroyed, cats like Snake and Ice already dead and the four clan's forest already tumbled through and destroyed for World War ll's loss of wood. But other then that, Scourge was here for a whole other purpose. A she-cat had died here not too long ago, a she-cat he had grown to love. Not some cliche cat like Ashfur or even Tigerstar, but [Name]. It was a beautiful name indeed, and made the cold heart of a cat this evil crumble and melt away in the replacement of deep red warmth. However, considering the bombings and the rivals amongst the countries, she did not survive like the rest of the clan. Scourge and his two guards had come to retrieve her body and burry her respectfully, but Scourge was the most mournful of the two.

Finally, after two full hours of kicking away rubble and brushing away dust and glass pieces, They finally found more nerve-racking vultures kicking around a familiar [color]-furred friend. Scourge hissed loudly, and snapped his teeth at the gang's dirty, raven feathers. The vultures cackled angrily, and flew off to circle another meal across the sky, there was plenty of bomb victims to snack on anyways, unfortunately...

Scourge could feel warm tears filling his eyes as he stared down at the she-cat's dull, faint [e/c] eyes. He couldn't admit it, and his kept away a sniff. Her fur was still warm, and her ribs shown greatly against her body. Hunger is what demolished and left her this way. Her blood was red and fresh, and she looked surprisingly healthy amongst her face. Her mouth was open a little, Scourge wishing for faint breaths amongst it, but no signs of life shown amongst her eyes, heart, and the strange pale color around her cheeks and stomach. Dead and Silent. Scourge didn't like this one bit... He wanted kindness, talkative, and healthy back in his empty paws. He remembered her sweet and gentle voice. He shook it off. Why couldn't his mind left his memories alone?

"Oh, Scourge! It's me, [Name]!"

Scourge's head snapped immediately.

But sadly, it was just his memories bugging him. Just an Illusion. He started to shiver as he felt a soft tear trickle down his soft black fur.

"Scourge?" Brick said softly, her dull green eyes filled with abrupt worry. "Are you feeling alright...?"

"Fine." he growled, quickly wiping away his tears but swiping his paw over his ear and cheek, quickly sitting up and grabbing [Name]'s lifeless body by his jaws gently.

"Let's go burry her already." he said carelessly, but their was an unnoticeable hint of regret, pain, and sorrow in his deep tone.

The both nodded hesitantly and head towards a more alive place, planning on burying the peaceful angel in a more green, more settle place, in Heartstone forest off the boarder of this swamp of a lifeless town. They moved quickly, this town's deep and darkened memories of the war buried against their warm bodies. They didn't like this place anymore.

They finally arrived at a more settled place, the grass alive and green. Roses and daisies bobbled their heads in the wind's calming whistles, the trees's dancing leaves swaying to the tune as well. The sun was bright and shown here as well, the sky a healthy blue. The calming 70F heat soothed their shivering fur as they slowly set [name] down and began to dig a medium sized hole by a bush of daisies. Now the hole visible amongst the deep brown mud and dirt, They gently picked the body up from the ground and gently onto the dirt, and slowly kicked back the mud, and covered the spot with picked away green grass.

Bone, Brick, and Scourge sat amongst the finished resting place for the poor [name], Scourge's eyes now watering even more as he forced his throat through throbbing sessions as his urged himself not to cry. Bone noticed this, and set his fluffy white tail on his shoulder in comfort.

"I know this feeling, Scourge. The feeling of loss, mourn, and pain. You'll get through this, I know it." Bone's deep, calming voice made Scourge sniff and shiver. Bone held him there with the comfort of his tail. "It's alright to let your feelings out, my lord. [Name] was a good cat, and she deserves all the emotion and love she gets today."

Brick nodded slowly, not knowing what to say and she picked at a beautiful white rose and set it down in the middle of the grave. Bone got up as well, and picked a pretty bluebell flower and set it on top of the rose and dipped his head in respect and mournfulness. Bone stepped back as Scourge shakily got up from his spot, going through sniffing fits as his throbbing throat making him cough a bit. His white and black paw made soft clawsteps, his collar moving around his collar as he made his way to the perfect flower. It was a beautiful, healthy pink rose, it's petals spread out in a soothing fashion. He smiled gently, sniffing once more as he picked it gently. He limped his way to the grave and set it down amongst the two other beautiful flowers.

Scourge sniffed and sobbed quietly as he gently laid against the grave in sorrow.

"you might be dead, you might be gone. But amongst this silence, may your soul never leave my presence."
"I love you, [name]...
                     And I always will."
